Rulers and Templates

Rulers
  1. Rulers can be used for making great borders for your scrapbook pages.
  2. Be sure to try using a pen to draw a border, stickers to decorate a penciled in border and cutting out paper in the rulers pattern.

Templates

  1. Templates are great for cutting photos and paper into shapes.
  2. When thinking about using a template to make your own die cuts, do not forget to consider patterned papers, too.
  3. Don't forget that they can be used with a pen to outline a journalizing area.
  4. Use a template to make your own "frame".
  5. Lettering templates have become very popular. If you are cutting more than one set so that you can have a shadow effect, consider cutting both sets at one time to save time. If you are afraid that the paper will slip, use ZIG 2-way glue to get a temporary tack bond while you cut. Be sure to let the glue dry BEFORE you cut if you are using this method!!
  6. Lettering templates can also be used with pens. Opaque pens give the look of a thick bold letter with out all the cutting.

Lettering Templates can be used with Opaque Pens from ZIG for a different look........
